We are happy to either simply design your website and publish it to the server of your choice, or provide a complete website service, which includes hosting, site publishing and ongoing management (i.e. acting as your Webmaster). Acting as your Webmaster, we first register your desired domain names and choose a hosting package that meets your needs. Next, we design your website according to your specifications (search engine optimisation (or SEO) is included as standard) and upload work in progress to a temporary website location, which means you can view progress and provide feedback continuously throughout the design phase. Finally, we publish the completed website to your new webspace, thereby making it available on the Internet and World Wide Web. We can then provide regular updates, if required.

 

Note: All websites will be designed to meet current accessibility standards and will utilise valid XHTML 1.0 and CSS 2.1 code.

 

The branding used on your website can be customised to work on other items, such as business cards or document templates.

 

Apart from basic website design, we also provide the following website services:

  • E-commerce (online shopping) web design, which is what you’ll want if you are looking to sell goods or services online. Zen Cart is our preferred e-commerce system; it is a highly regarded and supported open-source (and therefore free!) software package. However, if you would like us to design your site using commercial e-commerce software that you have purchased then we are happy to do so.
  • Content Management System (CMS) installation onto new or existing websites, useful if you would like the ability to easily update your website without having to contact a web designer.
  • Search Engine Optimisation (SEO). If you already have a website and simple want to make sure it is optimised for search engines like Google, we can provide SEO as a standalone service. If you want a new website designed, then SEO is included as standard at Create Designs.
  • Streaming video sites, useful if you want to provide a large number of visitors with the ability to watch high-quality video content instantly (including live content).

In other words, you are able to request free alterations to designs at any time during the project.

We use a trusted and established printing company that can deliver your cards in as little as 3 working days. We use the same company for all printed material, so if you need promotional postcards, flyers, headed paper, or anything else, it can all be designed, printed and posted as a single order.

 

We are happy to design business cards as a standalone service for those who don’t require a website, or as part of a complete design package, which could include your new website as well as branded documents such as invoice, memos, letterheads and Microsoft Office Word templates.

Microsoft Office Word document templates are perhaps one of the least-used features of Microsoft Office, but they can save vast amounts of time and effort once you have set them up. Document templates can be used to quickly generate elegantly branded documents for internal or external use by your business (e.g. for proposals, memos, invoices, letters or any document you use Word to create). Templates include preset settings for all aspects of a Word document including fonts, colours, margins, logos, tables, list styles, background images and more. This means you don’t need to do any formatting and can just choose from the preset options and themes that we have designed for you.

 

Material can either be emailed to you in the necessary format for your requirements, or printed and posted to you. Alternatively, if you would like the ability to modify the designs yourself in the future, we can email you copies of the original files used to generate your material (e.g. Microsoft Office template files, Quark files, Adobe Creative Suite 3 files).
